Walk 11 completed (and another glorious day)

Helvellyn and Thirlmere, 2.30pm 2nd March 2010.

On 2nd March 2010 I walked from Borrowdale over Grange Fell and the central ridge to Thirlmere. As you can see from the picture I had perfect walking (and photographing) conditions. Sorted out the pages as quickly as I could (I’m working out of the country for two weeks as of this weekend).Have a look: Walk 11 – Borrowdale to Thirlmere.

I should be setting up a Facebook group soon which will make it easier for people to keep up with the project. Details to follow on here. It looks as if I will have something to sponsor soon as well.

As of today then I have climbed 37 of the 214 Wainwright fells (thus have 177 to go). My total mileage is 91.07 miles and my total ascent, 28,214 feet. (My next walk will therefore take my total climbing above the height of Everest.)
