Walk 78 done (in the rain)…

I’m still going…. Having set myself a target date for completion of July 2015, I still had 96 of the Outlying Fells to do before today. Now it’s 91, because I picked up five summits to the south-west of Coniston Water, which appear in the book as Beacon Fell, Blawith Knott and Woodland Fell. Combined, my perambulations over this territory makes up walk 78 which is described in all its usual detail on that page. It was something of a wet walk, dull almost throughout — but still with one or two decent photographical moments. Next one probably early February…
