At the end of a week in the Lakes…

… I have added 10 fells to the list, in five different walks which ranged from the crags of Pillar (pictured) to the rolling acres of the Wythop valley and the woods of Thornthwaite Forest. Two ridge walks as well: Whiteside – Grisedale Pike and the Glaramara ridge. Who knows if you have the time or inclination to plough through every word of the descriptions but if you do – or you just want to look at the photos – visit the main walk menu and look for walks 15-19, or follow the links in this paragraph.

As of today, then, I have climbed 61 fells – which means I still have 153 to go. I have walked a total of 167.21 miles and climbed a total of 51,516 feet.

And I’m knackered! No more walks for four weeks – 2nd/3rd July should see my first two-day hike, however. Until then… enjoy the new pages.
